Dressed Like a Daffodil

First time out in my new green linen skirt (made from a thrifted tablecloth!) and three separate children told me that I was dressed like a daffodil.

How lovely! Both the outfit and being told you're dressed like a daffodil.

Daffy-down-dilly
Has come to town
With a yellow petticoat
And a pretty green gown.

This site has some really sweet pictures to go with the nursery rhyme:

Beautiful skirt and sunny top!

The weather is dreary, I've been confined to bed for too long with the "stuff"..What a pleasant surprise to find a daffodil right here at my fingertips! Just the
encouragement I needed. God is so good!!
Truly beautiful outfit! Thanks for sharing.

We'll aren't you?

Daffodils are my favourite spring flower, so I can't think anything nicer than being told you were dressed like a daffodil

O! I simply must see the whole blouse as I am so captured by the soft-ruffled 3/4 sleeve.
With winter still waiting for spring, this outfit will be sure to cheer any passer-by.

Anna, I was just going back over your posts to try and find one about the cream tea, and ran across this one:

You had MULTIPLE requests for the recipe! Any chance you might share it? Pretty please?

Well, it wasn't that great of a muffin! It looked wonderful, but it was very bland. I suggest trying something else--I used the recipe from the Victoria magazine book on tea.

You'd make a great Aussie with that colour scheme too :)

I've just read every single post on this page, and then came back to leave a comment on this one (hard to pick!), but your style is fabulous and your sensibility is just wonderful! I strive to be....
