Names like "Christmas Bells, Memory Lane, Maine Comfort, and Joy of Living", just too much. How can one not be inspired?
Deb H
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-77022319231066608972013-12-16T13:11:50.956-06:002013-12-16T13:11:50.956-06:00Anna,

Thank you for sharing--it's truly a blessing to the part of my soul that delights in lovely things! :-)

Hope all your chicks get to come home to the nest for Christmas. I'll get to have all four home this year. In fact, I am just a heap of gratefulness this morning: My daughter just got home from college Friday, one of my sons arrived home Saturday after three months of Bible school and a one-month mission trip to Thailand, and all my kids (including daughter-in-law and two grandkids) were here for dinner yesterday. My cup runneth over--God is good! This latest one we've seen has such an interesting color neighborhood going on. Also, thank you for mentioning Frank Devol's "Old Sweet Songs of Christmas"(during a previous Christmas season). We definitely enjoy it. There is a note on the back cover of our copy assuring us that if we have "a new stereophonic system, this record will play with even more brilliant true-to-life fidelity. In short, you can purchase this record with no fear of its becoming obsolete in the future". The really shocking thing is that I am old enough to easily remember when my family's first stereo set came home - just before Christmas (1960) - and my parents had bought a new Christmas record. It was *green*! Well, enough with the Memory Lane, and thank you for your inspiring and useful and just plain enjoyable blog. God bless you all, and all you love.
B/NorthAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-37677537525640979242013-12-15T17:02:25.852-06:002013-12-15T17:02:25.852-06:00I am also a very long time reader and I hardly tak...I am also a very long time reader and I hardly take the time to comment, especially since my laptop died and I share the home office desktop with my husband.

But I wanted to let you know how much I DO enjoy your posts.
