For some reason I just can't remember things when I track them in my phone. Would Amazon be a good place to find one?Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05713713888058628901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-43283011744531834232017-06-09T05:23:47.976-05:002017-06-09T05:23:47.976-05:00Polly, I like the generous room of the A5 for sure...Polly, I like the generous room of the A5 for sure. The original patent Filofaxes lay perfectly flat which was a huge consideration for me ( so do the Maldens, I just bought one of those too :)). Of course, I think that you SHOULD get one.Annahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10747223126169684757noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-82504857190498132952017-06-08T14:44:59.076-05:002017-06-08T14:44:59.076-05:00Anna, do you prefer the personal size or the A5? D...Anna, do you prefer the personal size or the A5? Does the Filofax open pretty flat? (Being left-handed complicates things!) I had a Franklin Covey planner once that tried to constantly close on me when I was writing. I'm starting to think that a little leather binder might be useful for my homeschool planning, since I have to keep up with my own children lessons as well as the Shakespeare and Plutarch classes I teach at co-op. You must be among the top 10% of Most Organized People on the Planet, I declare. Now that I'm retired, I plan to get into sewing, too - and I love the idea of a "Festive Plans" section, as I'm trying to "put myself out there" more regarding hospitality. As for your planner, I'm a fan of the planners and planner inserts from Inkwell Press. There are goal-setting pages and habit trackers as well as Notes, Things to Read, etc, etc. They're really beautiful, too. Surely not thought I - and indeed not, sigh of relief. I am completely in awe of people who can organise themselves in this way. I've tried it many times but I find myself gazing with horror at all these lists with as yet unticked items. Making lists is one thing but actually carrying out the tasks is another. Still,I keep trying. I also like "Festive Plans." :) As a devoted planner myself--I've not gone a year without a planner since I was in high school--I love seeing the way other people organize their days.

My own planner is a slim plum-colored Moleskine (last year it was yellow). As a lefty, I love that the Moleskine lays flat and doesn't have any binder rings or spiral binding to get in the way of my busy left hand. I use it in conjunction with a daily to-do list that I write up each night in a spiral notebook. I like a nice long list straight down the page of stuff to do each day. In the back of the Moleskine there are blank pages and that's where I have pages for "stuff to buy", "to create/write," prayer (post-it notes, so it can be changed when they're answered), wardrobe ideas, home projects, places to visit, and funny things my children say.....

Viva the planner!

Pollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09403233175071026416noreply@blogger.com
