After 16 years of owning multiple male cats, last year when we became cat-less we chose a beautiful little girl from the shelter. Or rather she chose us - she kept reaching out of her cage and grabbing my skirt! She is white with tabby ears, 4 tabby spots on her back and a tabby tail, and named Arwen from LOTR for her huge elfin ears. She is a love and we adore her. Hope you enjoy your new kitty as much!Beckyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01426649248840375486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-15516494591241706862009-10-27T17:53:23.626-05:002009-10-27T17:53:23.626-05:00I was so close to getting a cat to solve our mice ...I was so close to getting a cat to solve our mice infestation problem. She sure is friendly, every time he sits down she gets in his lap and purrs. She's almost obnoxious about it. She also seems to know if guests are not fond of cats and pesters them too. I think I went to the opposite extreme.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16843147305443189227noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-46301383160780942442009-10-27T09:23:51.032-05:002009-10-27T09:23:51.032-05:00Congratulations, Daisy! The pressure is on here for a new kitten since our old cat died last Christmas, but unlike you, I have very grown up and about to fly children, so who's going to be looking after this one? We love cats and have always had one in situ but - they are a tie. What to do? Even the word verification is conspiring. It says priperi which is the rather endearing enquiring noise that cats make.Lucillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14414527658216916537noreply@blogger.com
