The parrot baby formula is mixed with warm, sterile water to help it move through the crop. My 20-year-old African Grey still begs like a baby (fluttering wings, bobbing head) when he sees oatmeal (which he likes to eat off a spoon or our fingers) or when he anticipates a trip to the faucet. Love your blog (and Alabama Chanin).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-5036032237608598322011-02-17T07:59:49.879-06:002011-02-17T07:59:49.879-06:00My goodness, how funny is that!! My grandparents have birds (a parakeet and a parrot of some kind) and while they don't "talk" exactly, you can tell their "tweeting" takes a new direction. Their new parakeet can cheep his name already. "Beebee". :-)Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17605260686118464640noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-22953853581661209882011-02-13T03:56:35.723-06:002011-02-13T03:56:35.723-06:00What a photograph!
