I know your family gives trips in lieu of junk toys, and I see how that is perfect for older children. For younger children though, say Daisy's age, how does she deal with the delayed gratification when there is no actual "stuff" to rip open on Christmas morning? I picked up so much plastic broken bits of toys before the New Year last year, that I vowed to begin the weaning process.
