We are busy sewing lots of summery things here, also. I just love wearing something new that one of the children, or I, have just made. And, it gives me great pleasure to see the children wearing things they, or I, have made for them, or they have made for their siblings. How it makes my heart sing to see children create, and delight in doing so. Looking forward to seeing more of your projects, Clara.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-68192863878414018122007-06-13T13:45:00.000-05:002007-06-13T13:45:00.000-05:00One idea I wanted to put out there for you and for...One idea I wanted to put out there for you and for your readers is that little black and white pictures from coloring books, or printable coloring pages from the internet can be a great source for embroider-able projects.Mrs. Hurzelerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16572706177677741639noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-76321640806134883212007-06-12T15:30:00.000-05:002007-06-12T15:30:00.000-05:00Love that fabric!Love that fabric!Mehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08161153959289171264noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-84411379761990084002007-06-12T13:15:00.000-05:002007-06-12T13:15:00.000-05:00Oh, thank you for the link to the book that you us...Oh, thank you for the link to the book that you used. She was here yesterday and showed me how to wind the bobbin (I never ever seem to remember how) She bought the machine in 1953 and used is until about 5 years ago when she passed it on to me. It is heavy and awkward but sews like a dream.

Can't wait to see more of you and your daughter's beautiful creations!Kyla Jeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12970391286948740740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-22912149438853689162007-06-12T06:00:00.000-05:002007-06-12T06:00:00.000-05:00What a great summer outfit that's going to make wi...What a great summer outfit that's going to make with the lemons!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07940010972446029536noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16182378.post-52298433679354431272007-06-11T23:56:00.000-05:002007-06-11T23:56:00.000-05:00Oh how I wish I knew how to sew! Thank you for recommending this book - I asked for it for Mother's Day and have been enjoying looking through it - I need to try my hand, but I'm finishing more of my deceased MIL's unfinished stamped cross stiches which were begun 45-60 years ago!Heather Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13563913535839786305noreply@blogger.com
