I used one of your tutorials today Anna ~ for a shopping tote. If you're interested to see, the results are here: http://beyondmypicketfence.blogspot.com/2008/04/all-in-days-work.html
It turned out marvelously. Your instructions were absolutely perfect. They were very clear and detailed. Absolutely no head scratching in confusion occurred at all. Thank you so much for posting them!
They are so pretty. I've been thinking of ordering a couple transfers... now they are next on my "to purchase" list. :)
I remember reading about frugal baby gifts. The author of the article said she embroidered a few different sizes of onsies (sp?). It took them from plain to "fancy gift store" with almost no money and a little time.
Clara looks beautiful in her "Wives and Daughters" dress. I love the movie but the NOVEL is absolutly wonderful. However Elizabeth G. died before she finished the last chapter.
Yeah for Savannah! He will love SCAD it is a great school they school has really made the down town area beautiful by restoring alot of the old buildings. Savannah also has a lot of activities for families that visit.
These are adorable! My husband and I were just discussing how hard it is to find sweet clothes for children, especially little boys. I think I will see if they have some transfers that I could use on some shirts for my little Man:) Thanks for the inspiration!
I've had difficulty embroidering on knits. Do you use some typer of backer material or interface? It seems I remember one time you mentioned freezer paper... does this work well for doing t-shirts such as these?
So so sweet! I was excited to see you doing this because I've done the exact same thing. Cheap Old Navy tees, spiffed up with a few stitches and suddenly it seems like I got it at a boutique! Adorable!
Anna! Those are so adorable!! I looked at the pattern bee site and I saw some called "animlas with aprons". There is a rabbit that I loved! It would be cute on Daisy! You are so talented!
Thanks for the love! Tracy, glad you liked the tutorial. Mod girl, I only used the backing when embroidering a onesie--that fabric is so thin. The tees are sturdy enough that you can get by with just holding the fabric supportively as you stitch. I do use interfacing over the back when I am done so no stitches get loose and tickle.
I really like the cupcake. So cute!
