My girls looked so bright and colorful Sunday I thought I'd get a picture. They thought they'd see what Bossy the cat was catching in the field.
Daisy's dress: $1 from the thrift store.
Clara's shirtdress: bottom dollar clearance on ebay.
Bella's twinset: $1 from the thrift store. Skirt: cut down from her Easter dress.
Cheap and cheerful!
Lovely finds!
ReplyDeleteI can see it's a lot warmer where you are than where I am! They look real nice.
ReplyDeleteThey look beautiful - I love bright colors, so cheerful! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photo, certainly one to treasure.
ReplyDeleteWherever you're thrifting, I wish I could go there! You find the best things!
ReplyDeleteWhat great deals! THe girls look darling as usual. I especially love Clara's shirt dress.:)
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your blog the other day, and I love it (I'm also a sewing, thrifting, homeschooling mom)!
ReplyDeleteThis post was sweet but made me sad a little--because thrifting for our kids is all going to change as of today. Do you know anything about the new law, HR 4040, that went into effect on February 10? You can read more about it on my blog. I strongly encourage you and any of your readers who buy your kids' clothes second hand to write to your senators and representatives and ask for an exception to the law for all resellers of children's clothing.
Thanks for your lovely blog!
Anna ,, as always great thrifing and re-purposing. You always are so creative and thinking of new ways to use things and finding great prices and finds.
ReplyDeleteGotta love op shops!

I love the idea of cutting the dress into a skirt, if it's still good after six girls!
ReplyDeleteThis comment is unrelated to content of this blog entry, but I have bombed, so far, on sending an email, so I thought I'd try this....
ReplyDeleteI just want to give you the "heads up" in case you didn't know that mrsmeyers.com is discontinuing ironing spray. Now, until tomorrow, they are selling what remains at $2.00 a bottle until it's gone. Thanks for writing about it in the first place!
I thought I recognized Bella's skirt - I loved that dress!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colors and the feminine but not fussy look of your girls church clothes!
Delightful!
lovely colors for three lovely girls!
ReplyDeleteFor the first time ever, I saw a Grace Livingston Hill book at the thrift store yesterday. It would have gone completely unnoticed had I not been reading your blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat job!
ReplyDeleteYour girls are beautiful as always. Your thrifted finds are always so exciting!
ReplyDeleteYour daughters look charming!
ReplyDeleteI love it! The girls look lovely!!
ReplyDeleteVery smart, especially in these times. Do you find it hard to find the cute things? I usually do.
