Lucy in the Jungle

Lucy lurking under the dendrobium orchid. I'm sure she's so glad that Giles is home!

  5. Hi Anna,
I work as a webmaster for a local business and they are doing a giveaway this weekend on their blog with some really nice Norwegian china. Thought your readers might be interested to know. I took the picture (I need Giles' talent!) :-) and got to see the china, it is really nice stuff.

  8. My dendrobium orchid finally bloomed a few weeks ago. I bought it on a clearance rack at the local hardware store for three dollars. It wasn't in bloom, and was sickly, but I was up to the challenge. Four and a half years later, and a few times dangling over a trash can... and I actually got blooms! They are so beautiful and prettier than I had hoped.
Good things come to those who wait.

  9. It's true, Lucy has a ferocious look to her! But of course, life is not easy in the jungle.

  10. Lucy has such delicate features. She appears very alert and lively. It amazes me that the Lord gives us such delightful little beasts in which to take pleasure.
