A Bit of the Beach

Beautiful beach times near Charleston, South Carolina.

When we weren't on the sand or sightseeing in town, we were on the beautiful shaded back porch. Oh, the breeze.

And that storm. Lots of thunder, very little rain.

Giles brought a thrifted shirt to wear that exactly matched the cinder block walls: well done. Especially since the inside of the shirt weave was fluffy in a weird way. That was entertaining.

Alejandro came up from Savannah to join us for a couple of days. That was entertaining also!

We did leave the beach house on occasion--I'll post some of those photos next week. Meanwhile, it's me and the washing machine, except when it's me and the garden hose.

  4. Welcome back - I am glad you had a lovely holiday. Have you found that the amount of washing generated on holiday seems far far greater than when just at home! xxx
