A perfectly lovely room - all three hydrangea colours are beautifully reflected in the quilt fabrics. How lovely to wake in a room with dreamy sheer curtains and pale blue walls...
Yes, please! Say, is the lovely painting one of yours? The glass Bluebird of Happiness beside the pitcher of posies made me nostalgic for my Grandma Alice; she lived in Southeast Kansas and had a pair of those before she broke up housekeeping. That was 1991, and I have those bluebirds yet!
Serene, tranquil room . . . You should rent it as a rest cure for hysteria patients.
Lovely!!
ReplyDeleteSomeday I will grow hydrangeas. It may not be this year or the next, but someday... :)
Your pictures are always a feast for my eyes when I come back to the land of the internet. Thank you so much for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quilts and lovely colors of your Hydrangeas. Is the Blue Room where "Miss Molly" will be staying? Such a peaceful scene.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty.

I love those pale blue walls. I think that's the direction I'm heading for our bedroom someday soon. Either that or completely cream or white!
ReplyDeleteThe quilts are especially beautiful.
