"From Bungalow Aprons to Bathing Suits"

Wardrobe advice from 1922:
"Always select or make designs that enhance your daintiness, your femininity, your exquisite delicacy and tenderness. Do this with every stitch of clothing you have, from bungalow aprons to bathing suits, from sport costumes to ball gowns. Endeavor to provide yourself with an entire wardrobe of dainty and cuddlesome garments, each piece as bewitching as the wearer herself."

  1. Hi there. My mother pointed me to your blog and I'm really enjoying it. I've been lurking for about a week :)

I love this quote. I'm tempted to copy it out and put it in my purse for the rare times I go clothes shopping :) My new rule is that I don't buy anything unless it's pretty and I love it.

  2. Anna,
I love "Fascinating Womanhood". Before I got married I read "Fascinating Girlhood" and am convinced it helped me snag Chuck. I've also enjoyed your updated links to other blogs. Very fun.
