Charming Breakfast Dishes
I have fallen in love with these breakfast dishes from Cath Kidston's delicious catalog. Isn't this mug made for cocoa? And this plate for toast? I think yes.
I love all the Cath Kidston range. I have been a fan of hers for years but it is difficult to buy her products here. I do have two coffee mugs and an apron that my dear sister-in-law gave me and I enjoy using them.
I have long loved the look of the cooler blues with red. I still remember a maternity dress I had with that color combination (the red being very tiny flowers) when I was expecting my daughter (who will soon turn 29).
That's a really nice design. I'd buy that! Our kitchen is small and a lot of the shelving has to be open as there's no space or money for fitted cabinets. So to keep things from looking too cluttered the colour scheme is a pale sunny yellow on all walls and shelves (even our fridge is that colour - that's what inspired it!) and then all the accents are blues. Because my crockery is all out on view I have had to be strict about the colour scheme and over the years if it isn't blue, it's been chucked or passed on. But when I see this kind of thing then I wish I could change the colour scheme.
I LOVE that fresh blue with touches of either red or pink, and right now I have an unpainted bedroom with plain linen blinds. Hum.... Not crockery, but I feel the need to get a paintbrush out. The only thing is, is it too feminine a colour scheme for my husband?? I always feel sorry for men stuffed into pink frilly bedrooms! There must be a way to get it nice, but not over the top. Any ideas?

I have bookmarked her site to come back to soon.

Thank you for the recommendation.
I love Cath Kidston's website! Her use of color is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI adore that design - I have an apron in it. There's something so deliciously cute, fresh and pretty about the print, I think.
