Potting Violas

Time to start spending too much money at the garden department! I couldn't pass by these violas yesterday at the store--don't you love their cheery faces?

I spent a few sunny minutes this afternoon on the kitchen porch planting two pots full. Here's hoping the deer stay out of them, since they're a scant four feet from the back door.

  1. Such pretty flowers. Maybe the deer will leave them alone. :-)
I think I recognize the dress you made not long ago! I found the same material and plan on making a skirt for Easter. I love that color of green.

  2. i was wanting to know the name of thoes flowers. Thanks. I have miniature roses, and am thinking of getting another hydrangea, and maybe a honeysuckle. We also have jasmine, and crepe myrtle. I may end up getting some dragon snaps as well. Oh the many, many delights of spring! How about a spring tea?

  5. The beginnings of warm weather just screams for flowers - doesn't it?
I just put in a new flower bed around the Pecan tree in the backyard today - they make me so happy :)
