The photos on your blog are like a breath of fresh air---refreshing and calming. While I find the content on your blog helpful, I enjoy the photographs most of all. Thank you for sharing your life---and photos---with us.
I thought I read that your son does most of the photos...did I remember right? Beautiful!!!! You are so inspiring. Like many though, I would like to see bigger views of your home. It looks like a cottage you only see in a pretty magazine! Thankyou for sharing your ideas and inspirations.
Absolutely lovely! I have been considering a vintage ironing board cover for some time, but have been unsure whether it would hold up well enough. No trouble there, I guess?
I would be interested in your laundry routine (I loved your daily routine!) if you have the time to share. I think you once said that you like the book Home Comforts by Cheryl Mendelson? I love this book, but have often wondered if there would be a simpler, yet still effective approach to the laundry...
i would have never thought of putting my laundry soap in a beautiful bowl like that. I might be able to do the laundry with a smile on my face if I had something as beautiful as that to look at. Thanks for the great ideas and thanks for the camera tip.~Julie
Curious with all your beautiful clothes what kind of detergent you have found that you like? Especially since taking the time you do with those clothes you need to care for them when you launder. ?
Renee, I just use unscented Tide (lots of skin allergies in the family), and for hand washables, I have a bottle of some sweater wash that a friend passed along. Nothing special!
i like how you make the ordinary look so extraordinary, and beautiful. Thanks for the encouragement each day.

ReplyDeleteVirginia Rose? I would guess that is the pattern on that gorgeous bowl simply because it looks like the pattern on a plate that I rescued once.
