Daisy Models a Smock
Daisy agreed to model a smock I made yesterday. Usually I pin her down and put clothes on her, then Giles sneaks up with a camera and takes a picture through a crack in the door. Not sure why she cooperated this time. Oh, that's right. I bribed her with four doughnut holes.

ReplyDeleteI love these!!!! And gosh she looks like she has gotten taller! I noticed the more my 5 year old gets taller the more the babyish look seems to diminish, I want to keep her little! I love the smocks, I cannot wait to see them in the shop!

ReplyDeleteShe looks so adorable in her little smock. I think my daughter is about the same age (not quite five) and there's no way she would pose for photos without bribery either. (Laughing picturing your son photographing through a crack in the door...)

ReplyDeleteWhat are you going to do for photos for your blog when Giles leaves??? Perhaps one of your other children will pick up the camera once 'the master' leaves. That's what happened at our house - my sisters blossomed in the sewing area as soon as my shadow was out of the sewing room.
Her eyes are as round, black and shiny as the buttons on her smock.

Ah yes, doughnut holes can always do the trick. :-D Thank you very much sweet Daisy for posing and letting Giles take such lovely photos. :-) The little smockie (I always call them smockies instead of smocks) is so cute! Too bad you couldn't have found daisies for dear Daisy to hold. :-D Though daffodils in my opinnion are prettier than daisies. Daisy is very lucky to have such a lovely mommy who can make such lovely things. ;-)
