Espresso

The day after I decided that yes, I do want an espresso machine, I found this Moka at the thrift store for $1. I tried it out this morning and put myself into an unfortunate caffeine overdrive. But I am very glad to have it and foresee many happy latte mornings ahead.

  2. It's the only way to make espresso. My husband and I bought one in Italy; every Sunday morning we heat up some milk and have the best lattes ever.

  5. I'm not sure that I've ever had an "unfortunate" caffeine overdrive, though I do really enjoy that phrase. :)

  7. Awww this reminds me of my short affair with my Mukka Express. They were good days that may need revisiting:).You inspired me to do a blog post about my Mukka-I took the pics but never got round to posting.

  10. Welcome to the world of aroma, crema and taste. My treat in the morning is an espresso from an espresso machine, just one in the day otherwise yes, the caffeine, the shakes.....

I used to see these little pots in thrift stores and never knew what they were...lol....and I AM a coffee drinker....well, once when I was watching TV (something I ordinarily do not do, but I was on the couch recovering)....I saw someone use it on a cooking show!!! Ha!, I have wanted one ever since. :)
