I found a bag of six crocheted butterflies at the thrift store. What was someone thinking? I didn't even know what I was thinking until I got them home.
Where I decided to hang half of them from the living room ceiling on fishing line.
And perch the rest on a hickory branch from the yard. Right now, this family of butterflies is receiving all my love.
Oh, and mine too! Those butterflies are beautiful and I think you're quite smart to recognize that treasure trove and to know just what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteI also covet that pillow I see on your couch in the background and the one that was in your shop a day or two ago...

Oh my goodness--I ADORE this idea. I think it looks sweet, simple, yet sophisticated. How could someone get rid of those!?
ReplyDeleteLucky for you my children are half a world away! Those butterflies are so very sweet.

ReplyDeleteI love your creativity Anna and your eye for finding special treasures.
ReplyDeleteI always feel a little sad when I find something like that - wondering why there was noone in that family to cherish those handmade treasures. I'm glad they've found a good home :-)
What a wonderful idea for these special little treasures!
ReplyDeleteHow fun and they are even nice fall colors.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your butterflies!
