Snowdrops and a Thrifted Blouse
Love the delicate details on this thrifted linen blouse--the pintucks, the puff of the sleeve, the ruffle at the cuff. And I like the details on the snowdrops--the scallops, and the charming green polka dots.
Does the blouse mimic the flowers or the flowers the blouse, hmmm ;-)
very pretty either way.
I can't wait for some flowers here...my daffodils are peaking up out of the snow...soon???
Anna, you make me want to go out to shop...I have been home so much in the past 8 weeks since Princess Mercy arrived. Perhaps once the weather warms here...I can make a trip to our super thrift shop. Wanna come with me? ;-)
Pintucks make everything beautiful. And the snowdrops are breathtaking. I lovelovelove white flowers.
ReplyDeleteBreathtaking.
ReplyDeletePerfectly beautiful...
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty picture!
ReplyDeleteSo feminine... love the look!
ReplyDeleteCharming - I used to get a lot of cotton blouses at our local Salvation Army - I noticed the ones made in India were always the softest and prettiest.
ReplyDeleteIt is -20 celsius with the windchill factor here so seeing those snowdrops has given me hope that spring is not far off. Thank you
ReplyDeleteI do love simple white blouses.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely. The details are so delicate. The creativity of both the blouse and the flowers is amazing - isn't it?
