Chocolate-Drizzled Shortbread


It is so easy to take shortbread cookies to the next level. If, say, you need to take a plate of something to the reception following your daughter's chamber music performance.

I'm sure everyone knows this, but just melt 1/3 cup of chocolate chips in a bowl, scrape them into a sandwich bag, and snip the tiniest corner off the bag. Squeeze over the cookies, and you'll be fancy.

  1. Indeed, they are fancy. I also like to dip half of the cookie into the chocolate for elevated shortbread. Yours are more aesthetically pleasing, though, than the half-dips.

  6. Yummy, and beautiful. Audrey is going to try them tomorrow. I have a question for you. In March you have a post on your sweater remake, I was wondering about the dress. Did you make it, or do you happen to know the pattern number. That style of dress is what I have been wanting . How did I miss that one!! lol
