A Canvas Bag for Bread
It's not a hostess gift when you give it to a guest who's coming to your house to cook, I don't think. But anyway, I made it for her--two loaves of French bread in a purpose-made cotton canvas bag with a pale pink velvet drawstring.
I love it! It's funny, just a few days ago, the website, Remodelista posted about a canvas bread bag from Denmark. It thought the idea was genius. It could be served in the bag, then stored by closing the top (magnetic). Reminds me of yours. Of course, their version didn't come with a delightful velvet pink ribbon: http://www.remodelista.com/posts/kitchen-stelton-bread-bag
I think these are the best idea! In fact, I have been selling them at my Etsy store for quite awhile and they are a best seller! Come take a peek ~ www.ladyfarmersmarket.esty.com!
I bet it smelled as lovely as it looked.
