A Lady Banks Bouquet

The Lady Banks rose is immense this year: a solid arc of flowers at least fourteen feet in length. Plenty for Clara to cut and arrange in a bouquet for the living room this evening.

  3. Beautiful photo! I love the little glimpses you've given of your kitchen. Did you paint your cabinets white? I seem to recall a post about painting them but I don't remember if were refreshing them or if they were wood stain before? The reason I'm curious is because I want to paint my oak cabinets soft white but my husband thinks it's "trendy". I think it's a timeless, classic look.

  7. It's a lovely photograph. I really like the look of kitchen cabinets with the glass doors - but of course, what's inside has to be attractive and well arranged.

  9. That is a perfect photo. Just beautiful - all the details, the lighting, the softened edges of Clara as she works. . .you must be so pleased.

Lisa, my cabinets are cream and we did that because our house is so shady and I wanted to lighten up the kitchen. I love it. If it looks outdated in a few years, I'll change the pulls, but I'm keeping the bright look!
