Violet Cardigan
Why, oh why, was there a cashmere cardigan (Ralph Lauren) with the tags still on, in my size and favorite color, hanging on the end of the rack at the thrift store? It wasn't even my birthday!
...because God loves you! I have been meaning to write a comment for a while now - as a longtime reader of your blog I am so happy you are posting again! :) Erin
Don't you just LOVE it when that happens? I once found a never-worn pair of Laura Ashley black leather boots (leather inside and out) for $4.00...and they just happened to be half price that day! Enjoy your new sweater! You wear it well!
P.S. I, also, have been a longtime reader, and am thrilled you are blogging again!
Now that is a find to sing about! I thought of you yesterday as my husband and I made plans to go to our new towns Symphony Orchestra tonight our last town didn't have one! It will be a fun date!
I once found a pair of Brooks Brothers slacks...with the $110 price tag still attached. I did a happy dance in the dressing room when I realized they were a perfect fit! Oh, the sweet joy of finding a "treasure" at the thrift store.
Why oh why does my thrift store never have things like that when I'm there? It's so pretty, Anna! What a find.

Isn't it great? I found a Ralph Lauren blouse that way years ago - got a lot of use out of it.
