Round Loaf of Rye Bread
When you have a pan of sausages, you need a loaf of rye bread to go with it. I've been making all our dinner bread from the ubiquitous Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day. There's a reason it's everywhere.
Which recipe exactly did you use? I have been looking for a good, easy rye (since our family is Scandinavian, we especially love it at this time of year!)
Absolutely! The breads in that book are fool-proof and delicious. You can't ask for more!
ReplyDeleteI love that book. I just made their buttermilk sandwich bread last week and it we ate three loaves in two days! Your loaf is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore that book!! It's been my go to bread book for some time now. I haven't tried the rye though, hmmm.... :)
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day!
We have that at the library, and I've been eyeing it. We're rye bread people in this house.

ReplyDeleteok ok, I need to get my hands on that book.
ReplyDeleteWe've been using the ubiquitous NYTimes no-knead as dinner bread.
Your loaf is so lovely. I also want some rye bread to make Reubens with the homemade sauerkraut my best friend gave me.
