Bella Sings Faure
It's been a year since I taped Bella singing, but we finally recorded her again. Enjoy this clip--it's just her informal practice at the piano with Clara, some of Faure's famous "Pie Jesu."
I can't get to a recording, but wanted to say- she looks like a singer! Good posture! And her dress is beautiful. I'll look forward to hearing her. That setting of Pie Jesu is among my favoritesj
I heard Bella way out here in the boonies of Mongolia! So beautiful....the singing, the piano, your young ladies....
We do now have internet access in this far-flung spot (well, when we have electricity!), but I endeavor to *not* spend too much time on it....I have wanted to tell you, though, Anna, that I appreciate and enjoy the glimpses into your heart and life that you give us.
It's hard to believe she's only 13. What a sound! As a singer who's been doing it primarily "wrong" for 20 years, her posture and the ease with which she sings makes me a wee bit jealous. That is such a lovely piece, and she sings it beautifully!
What a lovely rich voice, especially for her age. It's such a gift to be able to make music with siblings as well - she's lucky to have a skilled pianist for a sister!
What a clear sound! So enjoyable to listen to her. Was that Bella turning the page for Clara part of the way through? Even if not, I love that she didn't lose her composure there!
Nice to see Bella's lovely voice maturing into something even lovlier. It's so nice that she and Clara can make music together. And she's just so stunningly beautiful.
Beautiful! its so inspiring to hear other young people sing as I am doing a singing major for college and I adore music! I want to teach someday! Bella has a beautiful voice and its wonderful her and Clara can do music together.
My two-year-old daughter and I listened to Bella's two videos over and over again. My daughter loved it, but she did want to see more of Clara playing the piano. :)
How lovely :) Her voice really shows a lot of promise! And I must say I am jealous of the sisterly accompanist - I wish I had such help in my practising! Thank you for sharing, and tell Bella to keep it up :)
Beautiful! Beautiful girls and beautiful music! I let the kids take a break from lessons to hear Bella sing! Thanks for sharing your talented daughters with us. ~Holly
