I sometimes want to imitate art, especially the Eloise Wilkin illustrations. I stare at those pictures as I read the books to my little ones and get inspiration for my homemaking from them.
What a beautiful picture. The slash of warm light behind her legs contrasts with the blue light coming from the room behind her. As a whole, it has a soft, warm feel. Wonderful!

ReplyDeleteMy son was visiting his sister in New England recently and while there, my grandchildren went to Build a Bear and created Victoria for Grammie.
I love being a grandmother that the children would know appreciates stuffed kitties with bunny house shoes.
I have a feeling yours will know the same thing. :)
