1. That first photo is great!
ReplyDelete2. Seeing Felix posing for pictures with the bigger guys made me realize he's suddenly grown up.
3. "lensless" glasses - ha!!
4. You have palm trees in your backyard?
Lisateresa
Oh, Lisa! Can't you guess the boys sent me these from Felix's vacation week in Savannah with Giles? :)
ReplyDeleteAnna - What do I know about Savannah? All I know is, Connecticut is supposed to have more snow Friday!!
ReplyDeleteIt's nice that they had a vacation together. Your lovely blog makes me wish I could go back in time, have a family, homeschool the kids, etc., etc., with all the insights I've gleaned from you, which I never would have known then but that's okay now because I never had any children.
Well, who knows but that it'll come in handy in some way?
-L.
That explains alot... I was a bit taken aback with the palm trees too. Sigh - they are just so stylish - and without even trying to be so... if only I were like that.
ReplyDeleteLilian
It's so fun to see these pics. My oldest dressesvery much like this. His brothers are so different - from him and each other.
ReplyDeleteThough I must say it IS unnerving when one's own era becomes labeled 'vintage' isn't it? Sigh!
These always make me smile and laugh. Thank you!
ReplyDelete(BTW, could we perhaps, please, please, get one of these with the girls?)
Love this installment! Especially fond of the park photos, which are cracking me up.
ReplyDeletePre-rolled cuffs!!!! Oh my.
Ha! My husband came home from his parents house yesterday evening with some very cool brown leather shoes my father-in-law had in the 60ies - still in perfect condition. He wears them for work today. But I doubt he rolls up his trousers ;) Nice pictures!
ReplyDeleteYou know, Anna, because I have a thunbnail link to your blog on mine, I keep seeing the rather bizarre image of Alejandro's feet hanging there above the stone building. Puts me in mind of Elizabethan England every time.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the bit of gallows humor! :O
Lisateresa
Fabulous photographs!! Is Giles the photographer? Love them all, but especially the last one!
ReplyDeleteLove the "Look Book" posts! My husband and I visited Savannah for the first time this past December. I would love to live there!
ReplyDeleteI crack up at the fashion posts with the boys! You are one pretty cool 'momma' if they share their fashion details with you! Love you sweet lady!
ReplyDeleteMaria Ricci
Oh, sweet fantasticness! They strike me as the modern version of the male wing of the von Trapp family.
ReplyDeleteA truly stylish viewing of favorite things.
I third that. These are really great photos. He has a great career in front of him.
ReplyDeleteCool pics. Def should be made into a book as a gift to these boys for Christmas or something.
ReplyDeleteBTW I notice you use the word "hipsters" alot. I wouldn't call these boys that, theyre too classy for that, and hipsters are rather...messy and careless:
Check out this hipster docu :

(It is rated pg-13, btw)
I get the biggest kick out of the Look Book posts (and out of seeing SCAD students in Forsyth Park! Thanks for the trip down memory lane of my own time spent there!)
ReplyDeleteI need that Alejandro in my life! The other one is cute too, but looks too young :)
ReplyDeleteYour descriptions are better than the one's Elaine did for the J. Peterman catalog, lol! WAY better!
ReplyDeleteSuch handsome and fashionable young men!
May I ask what photo effect they used to make this pictures look vintage-y?
ReplyDeleteI have no idea! These guys are professionals. :)
ReplyDeleteI think it's the girls' turn for a Lookbook!
ReplyDeletesmokin'!
ReplyDeleteHow fun! I love their creativity!
ReplyDeleteThe pictures are great. Looks like they've been cut right from a magazine. ;)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the look book posts! LOVE THEM!!
