ReplyDeleteThe men in your life are so dapper! I love the thrifted outfits. And the commentary that comes along with them brings a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteAnna, you're too clever - "Alps or Appalachia"! That hat!!

Fun posts! It's nice to see young men dressing nicely from primarily thrifted clothing! ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese pictures give me such hope. I have two young boys and I really want them to grow up to be manly and stylish. I see a whole generation of young men that can't seem to wear anything comfortably aside from track suits or pants that hang under places that should definitely be covered up. It's so wonderful to see well dressed young men!
ReplyDeleteSuch handsome men. Love these pictures and your descriptions :)
ReplyDeleteI hope there's a Part III, I'm loving these posts :)
ReplyDeleteYou should write for the fashion mags or the store catalogs!
ReplyDeletegoody! part 2 is here!
ReplyDeletePlease tell me your boys follow The Sartorialist's blog? Heck, Giles may have seen him in action in NYC for all I know!
That tie Felix is wearing is great. My husband is very very fussy about ties, but I think he would like this one.
gracious! He needs to do adds for the thrift stores! Wow! Love the commentaries!

ReplyDeleteThese posts are just fabulous! I agree with Shelley, you missed your calling as a fashion writer and photographer! :-) It's been such a pleasure to watch your boys grow up -- they both seem like very fine (not to mention very well-dressed) young men!
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Shannon
Be the change you want to see in the world. That is something for me to hang on to. Thanks, K
ReplyDeleteOne thing for sure about this blog..if you don't like the subject just wait..never a dull moment, nor lack of interesting subjects..from food to fashion!! Giles and Felix crack me up sporting these outfits. Look just like they were living in the time, or shots from an old family album!! And such handsome dudes they are!!!
ReplyDeleteWaiting for Part Three...
Ms. Dale in Ms.
Who's Katie, and what happened to Hazel? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYes, these are definitely hipsters. My oldest has gone from being a scene kid to a hipster. I adore the vests! The youngest saw these and declares he wants one to wear to his dance tonight. Can you send one down? :0)
