Daisy is in Wonderland these days--the real book by Lewis Carroll. In fact, she likes
Through the Looking Glass even better, because there are more scenes with cats.
She's pulled out some of her favorite soft toys to cast her own version of Snowdrop, Kitty, and Dinah.
Dress is the same pattern I used
here, done in a very soft and light cotton madras plaid.
Daisy I still have my childhood copy of Alice Through the Looking Glass.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like madras plaid - I love it!
ReplyDeleteMy mother used to worry about me because I like the Alice books so much. (I know "Jabberwocky" by heart.)

That is an Alice outfit indeed - headband, puffy sleeves - so sweet!! With happy spring easter colors. Great job, Mom, and Daisy: here's to many happy moments with the Wonderland folk!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the plaid dress!

These dresses are so inspiring. I could totally dig seeing a list of the little girl dress patterns you use, sometime.

I love madras so much - the way the colors play together. You've made a very pretty dress!
ReplyDeleteAnd so of the moment, I'm seeing madras everywhere right now.
ReplyDeleteI just ordered a madras dress myself from LL Bean, but Miss Daisy's is much cuter!
ReplyDeleteLove your little girl's dresses...you do lovely work.
