So Much Butterfly
I found this beautiful, new with tags, monarch-sporting pillow at the thrift store this week (my local store is intact; my favorite store is not). I lured it onto my yellow chair.
Well, at least you can still find lovely things at your local thrift store. Is the thrift store that succumbed to the forces of nature the famous one where you roll in at the end of the day, and the cashier gives you everything for a pittance? I am so sorry! That's what makes the devastation real, isn't it: the little slices of daily life that are changed forever.
Here on the East Coast, I can only cry at the photos, and pray for those who have lost.
That's a great find! I was charity-shopping (the UK term for it) this week, and found a string of orchid twinkle lights, and a gorgeous Hornsea pottery coffe jar in just the colours that match my future dream kitchen! So satisfying to find, and good to know that the money I paid goes to a good cause!
Oh that is lovely what a great find!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful find! And perfect for your yellow corner of the house for sure.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!
ReplyDeleteLove it!

The butterfly: a sign of new life.
I love that big modern butterfly pillow with the vintage chair. It's perfect!
