Absolutely love it!!! I am inspired to finish a dress that is in the UFO bin that is also purple. I love love love the whole outfit including the red shoes. :)
Oh dear, I love these dresses you're making from this pattern. The sleeves go so well with it and the whole thing is so subtly elegant. ("Subtly" is not the exact word I wanted to use, but I have a complete blackout for the one I meant.)
Anna may I say that the clothes featured on your blog are a wonderful example of how modest clothing can be incredibly stylish and elegant. Clara's dress really has the 'wow' factor and would turn heads for all the right reasons. Wonderful to see a young woman with the quiet self-assurance to wear the clothes she loves instead of following 'fashion'.
I rather envy Clara's height and slenderness! I've got her height, but unfortunantly my childhood "slender" has definitely gone away! She looks absolutely delightful...the color suits her...and the shoes are lovely.
Love. Those red shoes make it. LOVE. I wish I had more time to sew... (how can I accomplish this???)
ReplyDeleteMy golly I am loving that dress pattern, and it suits Clara so perfectly.
ReplyDeleteAnna: What a beautiful dress on a lovely young lady. (in MD)

ReplyDeleteVery nice. How you zip along on these dresses, I don't know!
