Cake Lady: Mississippi Mud Cake
No elegant pale cakes this week. Instead, this friendly low-stress chocolate number. Mixed quickly by hand in one bowl, then topped with marshmallows, and doused with a saucepan of cocoa sauce.
I have got to get this book... You make me want it every time you show a cake... going to Amazon to pick one up. Not sure when I'll make all those cakes,,, but I think it will be worth it!!Thanks for sharing a wonderful series!
Oh my! My sis made this for us (gluten and dairy and egg free) and it was delicious!!!

You made me pull a Magnum ice cream bar out of my freezer! :)
ReplyDeleteMy recipe is much more complicated, so I can't wait to try this option! Mine uses marshmallow creme and a chocolate icing made with chopped nuts.
ReplyDeleteThat looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI made this sans marshmallow for my oldest son birthday on Friday. It was quick, easy, yummy.
