Alabama Studio Sewing + Design

Isn't it time we talked about this? About how beautiful the designs are, how generous the pattern count is, about how a person could spend the next decade hand-stitching from this book alone?

Natalie Chanin, you are a genius with jersey.

  2. I just KNEW you were going to bring this book up, Anna! I would love to be able to look through a copy. I recently finished sewing an AC skirt and now it's waiting for embellishment. I "need" this book to finish that project;).

  4. Based on your beautiful work showcased here on your blog, I asked for and received the first two Alabama Studio books (Alabama Studio Style and Alabama Stitch Book) for Christmas. I'm still happily absorbing it all, but I must check out the newest book. Thanks for reminding me about it! And I can't wait to see what new creations you come up with, Anna!

  5. Oh my goodness! Amazing! Wish that hand sewing was my thing . . . alas, it just isn't.

Can't wait to see your creations!

  6. Someday... someday I will pick up my Alabama Chanin book again. Busy 5-year olds and new babies leave little time for hand sewing. In the meantime, I soak up every one of your posts on the subject -- inspirations one and all.
