Peppermint Taffy
I can't resist the urge this year to display candy--it started before Thanksgiving even (but just with a golden color scheme). Now I've moved on to white with flecks of red. Peppermint.
I'm trying to get to the store to get some to display as well. In the meantime, my stash of Dove dark chocolate and its pretty red wrappers had to suffice.
like a grandma! My grandparents have one of those candy dishes that's shaped like a nesting hen and you lift the hen to get the candy. Do your kids want to eat candy all the time? (that's how my kids are at the grandparent's!)
Anna, there's an adorable little candy shop in Charleston that uses a vintage machine to pull and wrap saltwater taffy. The free samples are heavenly. My husband and I love that place. Seeing your taffy brought back lovely memories.
Simple,beautiful display!
