The Top of Daisy's Bookshelf
Not being of the "less is more" persuasion, Daisy builds up elaborate displays in her room. I love this telling collection on top of her bookcase. So many of her loves--kittens, fairies, birds, puzzles, pencils, and little boxes.
Since Daisy likes Fairies, she might like the Felicity Wishes books by actress Emma Thompson (Nanny McPhee). http://www.felicitywishes.net/content.html
This was a timely post for me, Anna because after spending the past two days going through the room my daughters share, I would say they both could be described in that way. We gave away/threw away an amazing amount of things. Your positive outlook was helpful for me!
oops. I keep trying to edit my daughter's dresser-top because the amount of stuff hurts my eyes. I like your view better (but this is my oldest - I'm still learning!).
I think our daughters may be kindred spirits. :)

and bow-wearing piggies :)
ReplyDeleteThis is a very encouraging blog post. My girls both keep remarkably similar bookshelf-top collections. :)
ReplyDeleteA nice glimpse! Where is her mango wall?

ReplyDeleteDaisy's been out of the mango lounge for a couple of years. She has Felix's old room.
ReplyDeleteGotcha! Are the duck illustrations on her wall?
ReplyDeleteYes, Little Ducky still watches over the headboard.
