"And can it be That I should gain An intrest in the Savior's blood? Died He for me Who caused His pain For me, who Him to death pursued? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Amazing love! How can it be, That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?"
On Edith Schaeffer's passing: Cindy Rollins @ Ordo Amoris blog had some neat writings regarding Edith and also some links...Cindy quoted a phrase I read here on your blog...something like "If you demand perfection or nothing, you will very often get nothing". Mary Brooke
Karla, we had ham, turkey breast, sausages thrown in the pan with the ham, new potatoes, sauteed yellow squash, rolls, asparagus, whipped cream fruit salad, and orange marmalade cake and gluten-free lemon cheesecake. Whew! Fortunately my mother did all the hard cooking!
Wow, Anna, that sounds like a delectable meal! Thank you so much for sharing. Could you possibly share the GF lemon cheesecake recipe sometime? My brother just might enjoy a new treat, next time he visits ;)
Karla, my mother made the cake--I think she used GF gingersnap crumbs for the crust and if the filling called for a touch of flour, just used G baking mix. That's what I would do, anyway.
Beautifully simple table setting. Love it. Love that song too.Christina

All time favorite hymn. We sang it Easter as well and at our wedding so long ago.
