Oh, I enjoy Anne Lamott; my best friend was just quoting from this particular book the other day (I haven't read it yet). And of course, it's so true.

ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about her! I had to give Operating Instructions away because it was so aggravating to me; I couldn't bear it. But there are nuggets of wisdom peppered throughout her books. If you are patient and pay attention, that is!
