Lisa, thank you. My mother is getting better--moved to a regular room today! She is able to stand for short periods of time, and seems to have gained *five inches* of her lost height in this back surgery. Amazing.
Beautiful daughter in a beautiful dress. With the beautiful quilt in the backdrop... was checking in to see how your Momma was doing! Praying~ Blessings~ Lori
If I still had time to paint, I would ask permission to use this one. It is so lovely. The yellow, the skin tones, the composition, the book, and the quilt in the background. It is worth printing and framing.
Someday I will have time to paint again, but for now, it is put aside. I have one still in the paint with lipstick and taste everything stage.
This is such a gorgeous photograph. The colors are so beautiful and Bella is lovely!
When I had back surgery at the ripe old age of 13, I gained 2 inches overnight (and am still, due to scoliosis, about 2-3 inches 'too short' at 5'6"). I can't even imagine gaining FIVE inches! I hope your mother is healing well.
What a lovely dress! And how it suits her.
ReplyDeleteI pray your mother is improving.
