Clara's Crinoline Factory
Clara has decided to bring the crinoline back. A little fabric shopping today, and now she's ready to sew up crinolines in emerald green, navy, and black.
my best friend's daughter is going to make a crinoline, too! I have 2 vintage ones that, yes, I wear on special occasions, so I don't feel a need to make one, but I'm very curious to see how the girls' projects turn out.
...and the daughter Margo refers to is the Other Clara! I look forward to seeing the process, too, because the online tutorial we looked at resembled nothing so much as wrestling pythons.
Crinolines are so fun... I haven't worn one since my wedding. Bring on the factory!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this photo--the light is so clean the flowers + her dress are gorgeous and rich.
ReplyDeleteBringing back crinolines sounds like a worthy revival!
I hope you will blog more about this, complete with photos!
