This Is Not a Headshot

One of my most handsome brothers came to visit this morning. We hardly ever see him, he lives so far away and stays so busy, but he came to see our mother. A treat for us all.

The Composer asked me if I had gone into the headshot business. These aren't headshots--but when you're really handsome an above-the-shoulders picture runs the risk of looking like one.

He took all the ladies out to lunch, and brought home fries for Mother. Such a sweetie.

  4. He is handsome! I do see a family resemblance, I think--particularly to Felix, in the eyes, maybe.

So glad you got to visit.

  8. Whew! He reminds me of Jake Owen (the country singer) ... only with WAY better hair. In other words, he's wicked handsome.

He could be Dan Fogelberg's twin.

  14. An English question from a foreigner: what exactly is a headshot? I can, of course, translate the literal meaning, but how is that different from these photos? Google gives me only a different and disturbing meaning of the word...

  15. It's nothing alarming! It's a picture of an actor--his or her agent will use it to try to get them work, they take it along to auditions, it appears in play programs, etc. They always make people look a *little* more beautiful then they look in real life :) I
