Daisy Makes Us Keep It in the Road

The last few days Daisy's been tooling around the house again on her scooter, issuing tickets. I believe Fitzwilliam was cited for camping on private property, and I know the Composer found a speeding ticket on his steering wheel--but at least I don't have to pay *his* fines.

I'm not sure I'm responsible for this plant's legal problems either. Is there really a statute regulating frond length?

  1. There's a statute for regulating *everything* these days! Daisy is on top of it, I can tell.

My 6 year old issued a handwritten notice to my husband a few days ago. He had written the name of our local bank on it and decorated it with dollar signs, and added this ominous warning in his careful block print: YOU HAVE NO MONEY.

    ha.

  2. At least you got off with a warning. My son threw me out of heaven once...for laughing too much at my mom's drawing of the Statue of Liberty. The drawing reminded me of Bart Simpson.
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

  4. Possibly the ubiquitous 'Daisy's Law' which states that all fronds must remain within the confines of their containers unless deemed to be feral in nature in which case the law would be waived.

  8. This is why I miss having young children around. Such imagination!

My kids are grown and my grandchildren live near Boston, 1000 miles away. But I do hear of their antics from my daughter. :)

Love the ticket for the plant.
