Your log cabins are lovely. Are they for personal use or for sale ? I am also making a log cabin but it takes me a long time. I also use the same scraps to make the Scrappy trip around the world !! You can see it on my blog.
Wow, gorgeous! And you sure keep busy! I had thought "what a nice way to earn an extra income" and then saw on your Etsy shop that you donate the proceeds to charity - lovely! Happy quilting in 2014! Blessings, Laura
I have to say I've never loved Log Cabin pattern, but all your interpretations inspire me! I love them ALL! I guess I'm going to have to dive into one before long :-)
I love your beautiful, peaceful blog, friend. Thank you for sharing snippets of your life.
Anna, Had to come look once again at the logs that are so comfy looking I just finished one and you know... I am stuck in the place of "things get stitched this way"? Do you know what I mean? I love the home-y look of these and want to just venture out and do them (quilting) in just this type of home-y way! I'm rambling... Love them and so glad you are all feeling better! Pray your Mom is doing well also! Blessings~ Lori
Just totally lovely! So much so that I can't choose a favorite. Thanks for sharing.

ReplyDeleteI think my favorite from the year is the third down, the pale blue Reflecting Pool.
ReplyDeleteMost of these have been sold, some have been given to family members.
I love how you can switch colorworks so easily. I find myself in a rut of tone and color. Your work inspires me, thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! They're beautiful! What's your plan for 2014?
ReplyDelete#2 is my favorite. I really wan to dig into my scraps to start something.
