I rearranged my bedroom and I love it so much, every night when I get ready for bed I feel like I'm staying in a fancy hotel.
I pulled the bed over to the side of the room under the north windows, and now I have the huge west-facing windows for a velvet chair seating arrangement. Perfect for reading and holding a cat.
Serene and tranquil as every bedroom should be. Just lovely Anna.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely restful looking room. Love that view from your chair window too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely peaceful room Anna, I love the clean and white lines. I do like the North American custom of having a chest/table/dresser at the foot of the bed.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently considering knitting a bedspread in fine cotton, I thought probably white and a vintage pattern. In a 4ply (fingering weight?) it would be lovely for the warmer weather.
Absolutely perfect!

MUST work on my bedroom arrangement again! Love that fresh surprise every time I walk into a newly arranged room.
ReplyDeleteDo you still have your patchwork curtains? I'm contemplating something similar for a window and want to know how you've liked yours over the long haul.
What a lovely room, so much light from those huge windows! Your plants do thrive well inside.
ReplyDeletelooks beautiful and relaxing!! ~Heather
ReplyDeleteI'm rearranging a room too. It must be the time of year. Yours has spurred me on.
ReplyDeleteMargo, the patchwork curtains are hanging right behind the bed--but I'm thinking about taking them down and turning them into a quilt!
ReplyDeleteSerenity.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the television?! As an American, by law you must have one in each and every room! ;)
Nice! Hey, unrelated, I was wondering if you are still running?
ReplyDeleteAmy, I am. I'm up to about 12-13 miles a week after the winter off with a foot injury.
ReplyDeleteI just have to say your room looks so nice.

Good for you -- sorry to hear about the foot injury, though.
