A Good Spot for Quilting
This is my current quilting-and-listening-to-my-Bible spot. This activity usually happens after lunch. If I am very lucky, a raccoon or woodchuck will walk by the window. That happens about once a week.
what an enticing picture that is.. i am a newish reader who has read through your old posts and fallen in love with the schoolhouse. your chair looks much like my own as i like to lap quilt [no hoop!] feet up on cushions, needles in the chair arms ! i used to worry that i was "doing it wrong " but as i got older realised it works for me and i like it so who cares about the sewing police anyway... i am rubbish on a sewing machine and it makes my back hurt so it's hand piecing and quilting for me. thanks for your lovely blog and a glimpse into your life so far away from my own. susan.
What a sweet spot - so pretty and peaceful.
ReplyDeleteI admire your a)routine, and b)the way you seem to stick to it.
ReplyDeleteWe have a woodchuck, too. And there was a bear recently, but I am happy to say I didn't run into him.
