Hedge of Four-O'Clocks
These four-o'clocks have grown into a huge hedge along the edge of the bistro. They hide the metal border and make it look like it's been here forever, *and* they smell good!
Oh I see! I thought it had some special American meaning, but now I do remember you showing this area before. Re gluten free cooking Hugh Fearnley- Whittingstall has a new book Light and Easy which might interest you.
That looks so pretty! I grew four o'clocks from seed once and was surprised at how thick their stems were, how big they are!

What is the bistro in a garden context?
ReplyDeleteLucille, "the bistro" is what we call our little gravelled area in the back with a dining table and chairs on it.
