Grateful today for time to tend to my house (scrubbed all the bathrooms and their floors), work on my writing, get the oddball chores done, and stock up on avocados before the temperature drops below freezing.*
*What's a gluten-free, dairy-free Southerner** to do when there's snow in the forecast? We can't buy milk and bread.
**We're not all GF and DF, but we all love avocados.

I'm glad to hear someone else is getting snow in this country!
ReplyDeleteHave you tried the chocolate avocado mousse pudding? Quite good.

Anna I think that's the first time I've read about someone stocking up on avocados before a snowstorm. :)

We're unusual stocker-uppers as well--for us a pending snowstorm involves stocking up on almond milk, broccoli and Enjoy Life chocolate chips. Fortunately provisions are in place and we're ready for the "blizzard", as my four-year old calls snow.
ReplyDeleteAvocados are always a good idea. We are GF as well, so I purchased Pamela's baking mix for pancakes and cornbread so we can have carbs to sustain the cold temperatures. ;)
