Summertime Sister

Oh sure, Sister, this is fine for summertime. But what about winter?

  2. Oh, she is so adorable! And I'm going to be downer here... we had a kitten that did that in the summer, and then burned the pads off his feet the first time he jumped up on the stove and it was going. Apparently the heat radiating from the stove wasn't an adequate "warning" to him. I still shudder to think of it, probably thirty years past the event. (Schroeder healed up just fine, to walk the keys of the piano in the middle of the night many more times, hence his name.)

But PLEASE break little Sister of the habit now :D

  3. When I was a child we had a cat called Seamus who loved to sleep in the incinerator. One day Dad forgot to check for him before lighting the fire, an outraged marmalade cat shot into the air like a phoenix from the ashes, none the worst for wear except for some singed whiskers. Take heed Sister.

  4. Y'all are right, she's asking for trouble. However, this was her only time on the stove. We won't encourage it.
