The Backyard this Afternoon
We are all pleasantly disoriented by this crazy cool weather. The house open in late August? What planet is this? I sat and sewed outside before dinner.
Oh yes I know what you men, for us it's when February is cooler than extremely hot. Prepare yourself for a warm autumn I'd say Anna -- but how lovely that you can enjoy the evening air outside.
What a pleasure for you! We also had a mild August until this week. Now it's terribly humid. Well, in New England, summer goes so fast, I try to enjoy it all.
I know! Texas Gulf Coast in August and Comfortable Outside do not usually belong in the same sentence! However, all the rain is bound to bring the national bird of Texas --the mosquito out in a few days. But we will enjoy it while we can!

It's still really warm here. You can have it for a few days. Your garden is enchanting.

ReplyDeleteCarol, those rocks really will be pavers, when it cools off for real and I can get some youngsters to cart them around.
