A Little Quilting Progress

Clara gets the credit for these rows. These diagonals are hard! It's harder to steer, and we're doing the rows an inch apart, rather than two. That's twice as many rows, but the quilt will be gorgeous.

  1. An easy way to mark diagonals is by using painters tape! Leaves no marks and is easily repositioned.
I've also used Tiger Tape. It's a thin white paper tape with bars/stripes to help keep your stitch size even.

  2. Love it! What gorgeous colour combinations!

P.S. The jersey log cabin blanket I bought from you a while back is a family favourite. It sits beside me right now ready to vanquish the fall chill that is starting to seep into the air here.

  5. Jen, glad you're enjoying the blanket! I was just thinking about it yesterday. Lisa, we both thought the quilt was asking for diagonals--and didn't realize it would be twice as much quilting!
